I understand that everybody is coming from a different background on their approach to helping their autistic clients. Some are actively trying to learn more from the autistic perspective, while others have no idea what “neurodiversity” even means. Combine that with the pressures of fixed budgets and varied client needs, and learning an entirely different perspective to autism therapy is understandably daunting!
