Therapy to Foster Social Connectedness
My Clinical Philosophy
I believe in my autistic clients, and they can feel it.
Parents and professionals often come to me at a point where the progress reflected by teensy data point-by-teensy data point has not resulted in any substantial gains for their autistic kids or clients. In my clinical and lived experience, the type of growth we all hope to see in autistic kids requires a foundation of sincere belief in their limitless potential. With that and some clinical scaffolding, I have seen autistic kids all across the spectrum and with all sorts of profiles truly grow in ways never previously imagined. Social connectedness becomes accessible.
This is the heart and core of my clinical philosophy—access to social connectedness as a human right. I am dedicated to being there alongside my clients to help them access that human right.
